OUR HISTORY

The church originally began in Cold Spring Harbor as part of the Union Baptist Church. In 1868, members from Huntington decided to withdraw and form their own church. In 1870 land was purchased and a church was erected on Green Street in Huntington Village.

DISCOVER HUNTINGTON

As the town grew, so did the church and in 1924 the
members decided to build a new church building. So, in
1926 the present site of the church was purchased at
Oakwood Road and High Street. The church was finally
completed late in 1928 at a cost of $65,000!

Although the church has had an illustrious history – we look, not to the past but to the future! Our hearts are set on reaching, into the next generation for the Lord!

We place great importance in the gathering together in small groups, for mutual edification, accountability and building friendships.
